I had a few questions sent to me about this topper:

Did you use a mould? If not, how did you create the skull shape? etc

No mould required! In the demo below, you’ll see just how easy these are to make by hand. They're brilliant for Halloween, but they also make a great addition to boho cakes.

As you’ll see in the video, I used lots of shading—I wanted my bird skull to look old and very sinister. But if you're after something more light-hearted, ease up on the dusts, make two googly eyes, and pop them into the sockets. Try adding accessories like monocles, bows, flowers, or glasses (yes, of course I have). Perfect for freaking out your Halloween party guests. :)

The technique is the same no matter how much paste you use, so feel free to size up or down depending on your project.
