Like many before her, CNM’s founder Lisa learned the art of cake-making the hard way: late nights, endless trial and error, and probably more coffee than is medically recommended.
Years later, as an experienced cake designer and teacher, Lisa reflected on those early days and set out to create an online space that made the learning curve feel fun, focused, and a lot less stressful.

Caker-In-Chief: Lisa
Meet Lisa, chief creator at CNM, best known for her quirky (and often unexpected) 3D designs, as well as her highly detailed modelled cakes and cupcakes. Her work is regularly featured both online and in print, and she has earned a reputation for dreaming up designs that send the internet into a frenzy—these include her Afternoon Tea and Masquerade cakes, both of which became runaway hits.
As a rule, she doesn’t really eat much cake (always on a diet!), but there’s nothing she enjoys more than making them. Because for Lisa, the fascination of cakecraft lies in the creative process and solving the numerous "interesting" little challenges that come with each new design.
As a teacher, Lisa brings that same drive and can-do energy to her classes. Down-to-earth and generous with her time and knowledge, she loves to see her students succeed. Her sessions focus on encouraging individual creativity, building confidence, and ensuring that the learning experience is both valuable and enjoyable.
Managing Director: Wuffs
Wuffles joined CNM in 2021, all the way from the streets of Romania. Life initially dealt him a bad hand, yet he is pure sunshine, especially if you have a tasty biscuit or two concealed about your person.
After settling in the UK, he set about mastering all the doggy puzzle toys that Amazon could throw at him (yep, even the really difficult ones). Once that was done, Wuffs felt he needed a change of direction, and we are very happy that he decided to join the team.
